Why Quentra exists

Ömer Çolakoğlu has spent over 23 years working on SQL Server and database architecture, and has been named Microsoft Data Platform MVP seven times, a title awarded annually by Microsoft for technical contributions to the community.

Throughout his career he worked directly with production performance, security, and compliance problems: slow queries, anomalous traffic that went undetected, and audit logs collected by hand.

Existing monitoring tools observe the database but speak only after the fact: they offer retrospective analysis, not real-time intervention.

Quentra closes that gap by sitting between the application and SQL Server as a transparent layer: it sees traffic in real time, intervenes through rules you enable (block, rewrite, alert, log), and leaves a tamper-evident audit trail. Attack blocking and brute force protection run on their own once the security rules are on; every other intervention needs your approval.
