Why Quentra exists

Ömer Çolakoğlu has spent over 20 years working on SQL Server and database architecture. He holds the Microsoft Data Platform MVP title, awarded annually by Microsoft for technical contributions to the community.

Throughout his career he worked directly with production performance, security, and compliance problems: slow queries, anomalous traffic that went undetected, and audit logs collected by hand.

Existing monitoring tools observe the database but speak only after the fact — they offer retrospective analysis, not real-time intervention.

Quentra closes that gap by sitting in front of SQL Server as a transparent TDS proxy: it sees traffic in real time, acts immediately through a rule engine (block, rewrite, alert, log), and leaves a tamper-evident audit trail.
